Modern Diesels are fitted with a diesel particulate filter (DPF) which trap harmful soot partials during engine operation.
The particular matter is burnt off through meeting driving conditions outlined by the manufacturer.
Unfortunately on some occasions these conditions can not be met.
At R-tech automotive we are able to carry out a forced regeneration to clear the DPF of its raised PM value and return it normal operating function.
Please be aware this can only take place if the DPF is not full.
At R-Tech Automotive we also offer a carbon cleaning service for your vehicle.
Using specialized equipment we are able to direct a treatment through your engine to help remove the carbon deposits that build up through normal use.
This reduction in carbon helps the engine to run more efficiently not only to increase the performance but also to improve your vehicles MPG.
We would recommend that this is carried out annually.
